**Job Duties**
- Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with general office procedures
- May require ability to lift heavy items, climb and crouch, and operate material handling
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks in qualitative and quick manner

- Ability to work 10-6 pm
- Damp dust all ceiling air conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, register and other ventilating louvers
- duties with excellence and in accordance with infection control and decontamination methods
- Clean dental operatories in between patient
- Empty, clean all waste receptacles and remove waste paper and rubbish from the premises to designated area
- Vacuum all rugs and carpeted areas in offices, lobbies and corridors
- Clean staff and patients bathrooms periodically throughout the day
- Sanitize high touch surfaces in the office periodically
- Hand dust and wipe clean all office furniture, files, fixtures, paneling, window sills
- Damp wipe and polish all glass furniture tops
- Remove all finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, to include doors, door frames, around light switches, private entrance glass and partitions
- Damp dust telephones
- Dust all picture frames, charts, graphs and similar wall hangings
- Properly sterilize all dental instruments and equipment in accordance with office workflow, infection control and risk management processes
- Perform all closing procedures as described in sterilization and maintenance policies, as well as other duties as delegated where necessary.
- Perform all maintenance procedures and logs in a thorough manner
- Restock and maintain an inventory of dental supplies and instruments to assure a constant level is always available.
- Maintain order and cleanliness in the dental lab and in the sterilization area.
- Perform weekly spore testing and maintain a log of the results.
- Perform weekly and monthly maintenance of sterilizers.
- Maintain proper pre-set trays and ensure they are ready for anticipated procedures. Proactively review notes in patients’ charts to set-up for the planned treatment. Gather and ready all necessary materials and instruments needed for treatment.
- Assist clinical staff in optimizing patient flow. This will include restocking items, seating patients, and supporting other dental team members with patient care and room turn over.
- Safely performs all duties; follows required protective protocols to ensure personal safety as well the safety of others.
- Must maintain compliance with ergonomic safety standards; be mindful of posture and regularly practice ergonomic stretches.
- Proactively work with the team and follow federal and provincial regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Work well under pressure.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- High school diploma or GED, or an acceptable combination of education and experience. - Sterilization Technician experience is an access but not required.
- Must have proof of vaccines
- Willingness to be trained and can retain information of the assigned duties and responsibilities
- Must have strong organizational skills and technical acumen to carry out above assigned duties. Must have high attention to detail and be able to multitask
- Must work well independently and as a part of a team
- Weekly/monthly checklist completed

Pay: $16.20-$21.34 per hour
