**Responsibilities**:

- Welcoming the guest upon arrival.
- Assisting guests with baggage.
- Working with Front Desk team to ensure a positive and efficient guest experience.
- Identifying guest needs and proactively working to handle all requests.
- Responding to all guest problems and concerns.
- Ensuring that the guest's expectations are met by delivering quality guest service in a prompt and professional manner while recognizing that each guest is unique.
- Contributing to the teamwork atmosphere within the hotel and to the ongoing improvement in the delivery of quality service at the Front Desk, At Your Service and Concierge Departments.
- May be required to assist with valet parking services.
- Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

- Previous hotel experience in a similar position is an asset.
- Commitment to superior customer service.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to practice and maintain consistent key standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Victoria/Vancouver and surrounding areas.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift, push, or pull up to 50lbs.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work a range of hours including evenings and weekends.
- Valid BC Driver's license with the ability to drive both standard and automatic vehicles an asset
