We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Visual (AV) Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting audio & DJ systems, large LED screens and Networking toensure a high-quality experience for our patrons. You will work closely with our management team to ensure that all AV systems are operational and meet the needs of our entertainment and event programming.

**Responsibilities**
- **Setup and Installation**: Efficiently set up and install audio and visual equipment for daily operations, events, and special functions. This includes speakers (flown arrays), DJ equipment, mixers,microphones, large LED screens, projectors, Networking, Wifi and related equipment.
- **Maintenance and Troubleshooting**: Perform regular maintenance on all AV & Networking equipment to ensure optimal performance. Quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- **System Upgrades**: Recommend and implement upgrades or improvements to existing AV systems to enhance performance and customer experience.
- **Configuration and Calibration**: Configure and calibrate audio and visual systems to deliver the best sound and picture quality in various settings and event types.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with bar and event staff as well asmanagement to understand AV needs for events and ensure that all technical requirements are met.
- **Training**: Provide training and support to staff on the use of AV equipment, including operating sound systems and adjusting TV settings.
- **Inventory Management**: Keep track of AV equipment inventory, including ordering replacements and managing equipment repairs.
- **Compliance**: Ensure that all AV setups comply with safety standards and regulations.
- **Event Support**: Provide on-site support during events to ensure that AV systems function smoothly and address any issues that arise.

**Qualifications**
- **Experience**: Proven experience in setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting audio and visual equipment, preferably in a bar or entertainment venue setting.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency with a variety of audio and visual equipment, including sound mixers, amplifiers, flown arrays, projectors, LED screens, and related technology.
- **Problem-Solving**: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
- **Communication**: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical staff and collaborate with team members.
- **Attention to Detail**: High attention to detail to ensure that all AV systems are set up and maintained to the highest standards.
- **Flexibility**: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the bar’s schedule and events.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- **Certifications**: Relevant certifications in audio visual technology or related fields.
- **Experience with Specific Systems**: Experience with specific AV systems or brands commonly used in bars and entertainment venues.
