Av Project Manager

**Overview**

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in AV project management or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems relevant to AV installations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics for audio-visual systems.
- Experience with computer hardware setup and troubleshooting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and installation practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot software issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

**Reports To**:
Operations Manager/VP Operations

**Key Responsibilities**
- Project delivery and execution, post contract award. This includes:

- Facilitate IKO
- Lead/schedule technicians for project execution
- Project setup (finalize design to IFC or 100%)
- Budget creation and financial management (monthly reporting and forecasting)
- Procurement - coordinate equipment/material releases and scheduling with Procurement Manager
- Shop drawing submission, RFI’s - all document control
- Schedule creation
- Coordination and oversee resources (technicians and subcontractors)
- Progress billings to promote positive cashflow
- Project commissioning, troubleshooting and closeout
- Interpret scope, drawings, and specs to develop detailed project plans
- Manage and price project change orders
- Create and maintain project schedules using tools like MS Project or D-Tools
- Coordinate internal technicians and subcontractors and schedule work accordingly
- Manage procurement and logistics of AV hardware, material and consumables
- Build and track budgets and report on project financials (billing, costs, variances) with accurate forecasting
- Maintain client communication and issue resolution
- Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed
- Submit/Manage all required documentation: change orders, RFIs, progress reports, etc.

Pay: $50,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
