Bilingual Associate Specialist, Collections

**Position Summary**:
Based out of the Canada office in Woodbridge, Ontario, the Bilingual Associate Specialist, Collections is responsible for the Credit and Collections function for the region of Canada, which includes approximately 800 accounts, with annual revenues in excess of $60M. Reporting into the Director of Finance for Canada, this position will work closely with our Credit department based out of our Global HQ in the USA. The Collections Specialist will be the direct point of contact for providing customer financial status updates to approximately 15 TaylorMade Sales Reps, commercial services teams and their leadership. He/she reviews the status of delinquent accounts and initiates the collection activity through its resolution. He/she will interact directly with the customers to verify processes and resolve customer payment disputes.
**Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities**:
- Determine appropriate Customer daily communication by analyzing Get Paid software system data and make up to 100 customer contacts each day in order to ensure timely payment of receivables.
- Analyze monthly aging reports to monitor collection targets and objectives.
- Makes decisions regarding the release of orders that are above the customer’s credit limit; within company approval levels.
- Corrects any errors including misapplied payments, reversing late charges, overpayments, charges backs, etc.
- Processes, maintains, researches and monitors all documentation supporting the receipt, delivery, and dispersal of customer credit and collection data.
- Completes Get Paid collection queue daily.
- Manages communication of confidential customer financial information within the organization to approximately 15 Sales executives within the operating unit.
- Proficiently utilize various software including Get Paid, Oracle EBS and Microsoft Office.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by Management.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- **Fluent in English & French (required**), written and verbal ability to communicate effectively
- Able to establish and maintain cooperative relationship with customers and employees
- Able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption
**Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, Commerce or similar related field; or equivalent combination of education & work experience.
- Minimum 1-3 years previous commercial collection experience or internal Claims experience
**Work Environment / Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to use computer and/or telephone for extended periods (90%).
- Normal office environment.
- Incumbent should thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Regularly required to sit or stand, bend and reach.
- Ability to work extended hours as necessary.

Pay: $24,700.00-$40,733.73 per year
