Payroll and Benefits Coordinator

A large, private company with an extensive track record of success over the past 40 years is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Coordinator at our head office in Delta. You will be the go-to person for all matters related to our employees, providing guidance and leadership to further our growth.
**Responsibilities**:
- Hands-on payroll process using Payworks for administrative staff
- Supervision of hourly payroll staff and benefits
- Acting as liaison for hiring, WCB matters, administration of the Group RRSP program, profit sharing and ensuring legal compliance
- Maintaining and reconciling all benefit records, such as enrolments and terminations
- Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances and other issues
- Supporting current and future business growth by strategic hiring, development of progressive HR policies, tactics and preservation of human capital
**Requirements**:
- 3-5 years experience hands-on experience with Payworks or related software
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word)
- Knowledge of inter-provincial regulatory requirements in BC, Alberta and Manitoba
- Excellent communication skills and positive approach to employee relations as well as a team player
- Professional designations which may include Certified Payroll Manager, Certified Human Resources Professional, Certified Human Resources Leader or related designations with experience would be considered assets
