**What is the role... Working Foreman**:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Understand the project plans and specifications.
- Determine materials, equipment and, procedures required to achieve desired results
- Determine and abide by safety procedures based on job site conditions
- Communicate equipment and workers needs to meet schedules and deadlines.
- Leading by example
- Teach /train others for leadership role
- Oversee overall concrete foundation construction projects
- Assign and finish concrete foundation tasks to workers
- Assist with other tasks as needed

**QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS**:

- 5 years experience in foundation/construction work is required
- Ability to read blueprints is an asset
- Valid class 5 driver and reliable transportation to the shop (mandatory)
- A valid driver’s license,
- Clean driver’s abstract
- A clean drug and alcohol test
- Journey person certification is an asset

P**HYSICAL CAPABILITIES & EXPECTATIONS**:

- Physically Fit / able to handle heavy loads up to 50kg (110lbs).
- Able to work long hours in standing/bending positions and doing repetitive tasks.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be okay with heights
- Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team
- Proactive, able to perform independently in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Good work ethic, reliable with good attendance and punctuality record.
- Quick learner

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- concrete foundation: 5 years (required)
- construction: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)

**Location**:

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (required)
