**Winpak Division** is seeking **Summer Students** to join the **Warehouse** departments on the 8-hour rotating shift. In this role you will be trained to operate forklift and material handling equipment, pick and palletize orders, and stage finished goods for shipment.

This position offers the opportunity to develop skills in equipment operation, teamwork, and communication within a dynamic work environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Receive and process finished goods from the production floor and place in storage and/or prepare for shipping.
- Receive goods from external suppliers.
- Deliver inbound material.
- Operate forklift and material handling equipment.
- Pick orders, attach labels, palletize picked goods, stretch wrap pallets, and weigh material for shipment.
- Sort and stage pallets to be shipped and assist Truck Loader.
- Perform daily housekeeping activities to support a clean warehouse.
- Promote teamwork, cooperation, and effective communication within the department and Company.

**Required Qualifications**
- 6 + months of experience clearly communicating with team members both verbal and written.
- Ability to work rotating 8-hour shifts as required including days, nights, and afternoons.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (22.5 kg).

**Preferred Qualifications**
- 6 + months of experience operating forklifts.
- 6 + months of experience with equipment and/or machinery (not limited to lawn mowers, electric pallet jacks, cranes, balers).
- 6+ months of experience in manufacturing and/or production environment.

**Additional Details**:

- The Summer Student term will be from May 2025 to End of August 2025. Students must be available for the entire term.
- This position is 100% onsite, working on the production floor.
- We are located in Murray Industrial Park. There are limited bus services to this location.

**8-Hour Shift Rotation**:

- Week 1 - Monday to Friday 7:00 - 3:00 (days)
- Week 2 - Monday to Friday 23:00 - 7:00 (nights)
- Week 3 - Monday to Friday 3:00 - 23:00 (afternoons)
- Week 4 - Repeat rotation starting at week 1
