**ABOUT THE POSITION**

The Logistics and Production Coordinator will be responsible for managing the daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers. The role will also assist manufacturing to create production schedules using cutting optimization software.

This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing shipping schedules, preparing necessary documentation, preparing cutting schedules and overseeing the entire shipping process to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role will be a mixture of in office on the manufacturing floor.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Coordinate and manage all shipping activities, including scheduling shipments, preparing shipping documents, and tracking shipments.
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to arrange and confirm shipment details.
- Prepare production cut lists using cutting optimization software
- Coordinate the schedule with the manufacturing team on a daily basis
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and provide shipping status updates.
- Other duties as assigned

**OTHER REQUIREMENTS**
- Proven experience in a shipping or logistics role, preferably within a manufacturing environment is a strong asset
- Strong knowledge of shipping procedures.
- Excellent with computers, especially Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Microsoft Excel: 2 years (required)
- Logistics Coordinator: 1 year (required)
