About the Role

**Reporting to**: Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
The DEI Manager will have a direct impact on Corus’s DEI Mission - “To value and actively involve the full range of what makes people unique, addressing biases and barriers to level the playing field, so we create a strong and innovative company where amazing people thrive.”
Corus’s DEI Action Plan is posted on our website and updated regularly, and shows our commitment to action, and to transparency.
The DEI Manager will focus primarily on the first pillar of our DEI Action Plan, “Supporting a Diverse workforce”, with the following Focus Areas:

- Continuous learning and tools are in place to support a diverse workforce Focusing on DEI Fundamentals
- Striving to eliminate barriers and ensure an inclusive approach to our processes Working inclusively and equitably
- Ensuring we know what we are trying to achieve through ongoing improvement Holding ourselves accountable

The DEI Team is comprised of two managers (including this one), and the Head of DEI. We are a highly collaborative and supportive team.

**These will be the key responsibilities of the role**:

- Project management:

- Maintain the project plan for the Corus DEI Action Plan
- Create and update project plans for projects with business stakeholders
- Reporting:

- Develop and manage DEI reporting and dashboards
- Manage the yearly employment equity reporting process
- Manage the DEI inputs to other regulatory reporting such as CRTC
- Communications:

- Partner with the communications team to regularly communicate internal and external DEI initiatives, events and progress.
- Manage the central DEI microsite, and Teams channels.
- Create presentations showcasing our internal programs and achievements
- Employee Resource Groups (ERGs):

- Manage the relationships with ERGs, providing advice and support, and tracking budgets and expenses.
- Provide advice to leaders on business matters related to DEI in the workplace
- Provide support to employment systems reviews and employment equity audits
- Conduct industry research around best practices as required for new programs.
- Partner in the design and implementation of new programs, processes and policies

About You

We are looking for someone who can help us drive projects and programs forward, can communicate effectively about DEI to internal stakeholders, and will be a source of DEI advice to the business.

**This may include some, or all of, the following**:

- Excellent project management skills, with demonstrated experience driving projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with developing and managing people reports and dashboards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business, Film/TV production, journalism or Human Resources
- Experience in a corporate role focused on diversity, equity and inclusion
- Experience in the film/television or journalism industry
- Experience leading or working within Employee Resource Groups
