We are currently seeking an junior level operations coordinator who has at least 2 years of work experience preferably from a sales or business development background
**Duties and responsibilities include**:
- Increasing revenues by promoting and selling commercial services to clients, including applicable short term, casual contracts.
- Monitoring contract compliance and ensuring all contracts align with Flash’s policies and Site Work Instructions (SWIs).
- Reviewing and/or preparing and monitoring contracts, including amendments.
- Maintaining and developing a positive relationship with client representatives ensures that the clients needs are met.
- Provide operational management and process management expertise to ensure that the operation of the
- area balances the nature and level of service with cost containment.
- Plan, monitor and analyze critical metrics for daily operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of
- tasks.
People Management, Including:
- Ensuring the appropriate level of staffing with the required knowledge, abilities and skills.
- Monitor training, overtime, and budgets for relevant contracts.
- Personnel management, including addressing performance and disciplinary issues, performance reviews,
- granting awards and interviewing for internal job competitions.
- Providing advice, support and guidance to Site Managers and Site Supervisors
- Filling in as a short-term replacement to satisfy contractual requirements when necessary.
- Inspections, Including: Monitoring satisfaction of services to applicable clients through regular visits (at least annually) and Service
Performance Evaluations.
- Ensuring each applicable site adheres to specific Site Work Instructions/Post orders, Policies and
- Procedures (PPM) and Health and Safety requirements.
Documentation, Including:
- Preparing accurate SWI/POs for all relevant sites
- Preparing contract proposals
- Preparing reports and letters relating to personnel issues, including performance issues and discipline.
- Review Online Sites for Contract Opportunities
- Prospect Leads to Generate more Business and Increase Sales
- Perform Research and Identify New Potential Customers and New Market Opportunities
- Preparation of Bids on Security Services Tenders and RFPs
- Develop and Maintain Excellent Client Relations by Frequent Client Check-Ins
- Work with Site Managers in Investigating and Resolving Worked Related Issues and Complaints
- Conduct Site Audits/Visits and Record Findings
- Assist the Human Resources Manager and Recruiter with Placement of Employees to various sites
- Other Duties that may be Assigned as Required
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Police Foundation or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Experience working in a similar role within the Security Industry would be an asset
- Be professional and reliable and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Be able to obtain a clear police conduct
- Driver’s license
