**About this role**:
We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background and experience in Adtech and programmatic platforms to join our Technical Account Management Org. As a member of the TAM function within Samsung Ads, you are expected to both act as a service org to the business functions within, as well as provide a feedback loop to the leads in Product and Engineering about what needs to be improved for the business to run more smoothly.
TAM is primarily responsible for leading cross-functional investigations, designing monitoring and testing tools, and overall health of the Samsung Ads platform. This role is part of the engineering team and thus is heavily focused on the technical side of the business and has a much bigger scope than normal TAM roles.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop deep technical expertise on the Samsung Ads platform including the underlying client/server architecture, data flow, workflow, and setup/configuration.
- Lead cross-functional investigations and analyze data from the Samsung Ads platform to identify business critical issues and then work with product and engineering teams to implement a solution.
- Work with the data analytics team to create dashboards that show the health of the Samsung Ads platform and assist business operations with communicating to stakeholders when there is an issue that is significantly impacting the Samsung Ads business.
- Design automated tools that monitor critical business metrics and generate alerts when there are spikes in performance.
- Design testing tools that help identify issues with the Samsung TV Ad client and setup end-to-end Samsung TV Ad testing environments for troubleshooting business critical issues.
- Proactively monitor performance of the Samsung Ads platform, looking for ways to improve, and the Samsung TV Ad client to quickly identify issues with Ad delivery.
**Requirements**:
- Extensive experience working on technical teams (technical services, technical support, etc.) within the AdTech industry; deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, openRTB, and VAST video.
- Experience managing projects, including prioritizing, and working alongside cross-functional teams.
- Basic experience using bash or other command line languages, SQL queries, and reading source code to understand how a product behaves.
- Extensive experience using Jira projects to collaborate with engineering, product, technical support, and business operations.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an ambiguous environment and show initiative with an appetite to learn.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, being able to communicate effectively to business and engineering teams.
