One Planet Group, a hybrid tech firm that owns and operates a suite of online technology and media businesses, is looking for a Content & PR Manager to lead the company’s media strategies. Reporting to the Director of PR and Communications for One Planet Group, you will be responsible for the development of an overarching comms strategy for One Planet Group and its sub brands along with development of its media strategy. **This role will report onsite in our office based in Victoria, British Columbia.**

Additionally, you will collaborate with the broader global team to build, implement and document best practices for use across the PR, Communications, & Marketing practice. **What You Will Do**:

- Build and own media strategy for One Planet Group.
- To include the writing and editing of press releases, bios, and fact sheets
- Pitch and gain coverage to tell the stories of One Planet and its subsidiaries.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key Canadian and American media
- Find relevant speaking, thought leadership, and award opportunities for One Planet Group and its CEO and founder Payam Zamani.
- Oversee the production of OPG's blog and social media channels
- To include content strategy, content creation, and management of paid campaigns.
- Work closely with internal teams to develop cohesive messaging across all OPG entities
- Assist Director of Communications with the management of public profile of Payam Zamani
- Facilitate media events as needed.
- Maintain OPG website

**What Makes You Qualified**:

- 6+ years of experience in PR, communications, marketing, or related field
- Ability to spearhead high-level decision making, strategic planning, and vision
- An effective storyteller with impeccable writing and editing skills
- Established relationships with local and national media
- Obsessive attention to detail
- This role will report to our office based in Victoria, British Columbia
