**The Role**:
The HSE Manager at H2Safety will lead a team of HSE specialists and oversee consulting services for clients in Safety Inspections, Regulatory Reviews, Training and Education Programs, HSE Manual Preparation, Hazard and Gap Assessments, HSE Auditing & Inspection, Safety Program Development, Incident Investigations, and Emergency Preparedness. This role is pivotal in managing the HSE department as a profit center, ensuring high-quality service delivery, maintaining client satisfaction, and driving business growth. A key responsibility will be to expand H2Safety’s HSE services through strategic business development, marketing initiatives, and client acquisition efforts. Additionally, the HSE Manager will manage the safety and compliance of H2Safety’s own building and employees, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.

**Key Duties**
**Team Leadership and Management**
Lead and develop a team of HSE specialists.
Oversee resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
Conduct performance reviews and create development plans.
Ensure the team is adequately trained and equipped.
**Client Consulting Services**
Manage and deliver tailored HSE consulting services.
Ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Provide expert advice on HSE matters.
**Project Management**
Oversee planning, execution, and completion of HSE projects.
Ensure projects meet client expectations and company standards.
Develop project plans and present status reports.
Conduct post-project reviews.
**Profit Center Management**
Manage the HSE department as a profit center.
Develop strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs.
Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations.
Set and achieve financial targets.
**Business Development and Growth**
Identify new business opportunities and expand the client base.
Develop comprehensive marketing strategies to promote HSE services.
Establish partnerships and alliances to broaden service offerings.
Create targeted proposals and presentations to win new clients.
Participate in industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance visibility and reputation.
Actively pursue cross-selling opportunities with other H2Safety services.
Build relationships with key industry stakeholders and decision-makers.
**Compliance and Risk Management**
Develop and implement HSE policies for H2Safety.
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
Conduct safety audits and inspections.
Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.

**Required Education, Experience & Credentials**
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in HSE roles with three (3) years in a leadership capacity.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience in managing teams and projects.
- Demonstrated success in business development or sales within the HSE field.

**Required Knowledge, Skills & Competencies**
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices, particularly in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent project management abilities.
- Proficiency in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Financial acumen to manage profit centers and develop pricing strategies.
- Proficiency in using HSE management software and tools.
- Familiarity with international HSE standards and practices.
- Experience in business development and client relationship management.
- Strong networking and marketing skills to promote HSE services.
- Understanding of the Emergency Response Planning industry is a strong asset.
