We are currently seeking a dynamic **Placement Coordinator** to join our team. As part of an agile team, you will be responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining relationships with work placement sites across Canada, while coordinating and monitoring student work placements for our healthcare-related programs. Work placements are a critical component of our learners’ education, and you will play a vital role in supporting both the organization and our network of campuses. We are looking for an effective team player with excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare and community service organizations. - **Responsibilities**:_ - Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with host sites across Canada, determining and managing lists of students scheduled for placement. - Coordinate and monitor student placements within their field of study. - Collaborate with school staff to monitor and manage student placements. - Supporting and advising Learners and placement. - Manage administrative tasks of the placement process from start to completion, managing the placement databases. - Review placement opportunities to ensure they meet the requirements of the program of study. - Communicate effectively and tirelessly with leadership, internal team members, and school partners. - Relentless aspire to improve and have a positive, "can-do" attitude. - Seek out new community partner relationships, developing and maintaining the partnerships. - Determine field placement locations based on students' needs and availability of placement sites. - Provide external partners with support, regular information and feedback regarding program changes and expectations. - Conduct pre-field placement classroom meetings, presentations/workshops with learners to educate them about the field placement requirements, policies and procedures needed to secure a field placement. - Develop, review and revise field placement evaluation tools in collaboration with the program coordinator. - **Qualifications and skills**:_ - Completion of post-secondary education. - Experience in recruitment or career counselling preferred. - Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). - Excellent reading, writing, and speaking abilities in English. - Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Outstanding customer service skills. - Strategic reporting and analysis abilities. - Efficient time management skills. - **Recruitment process**:_ - Final interviews will be scheduled in-person. - Due to the high volume of inquiries, we anticipate receiving, we cannot respond to every applicant individually. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - Paid time off **Education**: - Bachelor's Degree (required) **Experience**: - Microsoft Office: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person
