**Head of Procurement - Role & Responsibilities**

Well-capitalized startup seeks extremely talented Head of Procurement to enhance supplier, vendor, and subcontractor strategies for residential and commercial construction projects. You must have experience in building compressive supplier and subcontractor databases, developing rating systems for quality and efficiency, sourcing innovative materials that enhance installation methods, and achieving significant cost and lead time reductions across all project phases in a fraction of time that most consider possible.

Top-notch negotiation, sourcing skills, and presenting data-driven recommendations is essential. You should have a bachelor's degree or master’s in supply chain management, material science and engineering, construction science, civil engineering or equivalent. Familiarly with estimating or lean construction methods would be helpful but is not necessary.

Expect talented, motivated, intense, and interesting co-workers.

Must be willing to relocate to the Ontario area.

Compensation will include meaningful equity compensation.

**Mission for Head of Procurement**:

- To build a comprehensive database of top-tier commercial and residential suppliers and subtrades, driving a 25% - 30% reduction in project costs and lead times. Source innovative materials and develop new installation strategies, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance efficiency, elevate quality, and position the company as a leader in construction innovation for every project. _

Pay: $38,000.00-$140,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:
