Launch Your Career in Procurement With Hands-On Experience  As a Procurement Intern, you’ll support essential administrative activities—from supplier outreach, assessments, and competitive sourcing to compiling data analytics, maintaining accurate documentation, and assisting with contract reviews. You’ll also help roll out digital platforms, support internal stakeholders, research markets, and contribute to process improvements that keep the team running efficiently. Responsibilities Assist Procurement with supplier outreach, supplier assessments, competitive sourcing Work with key business stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of ongoing business needs Develop category strategy plans Develop meaningful data analytics for presentations and to support negotiations Review and provide input on contract terms and conditions, with a focus on protecting the commercial interests of the company and mitigating risk Support implementation of digitized platforms, including the launch of any new supplier site portals and the development of internal support tools Seek opportunities to drive savings to and efficiencies for the business and implement new processes or suppliers as needed Focus on change management strategies to further support colleagues, internal customers, and external partners as our business overall adapt to change Research markets to assist in strategy development and development of market expertise Other tasks as assigned Competencies Are currently in or has recently graduated from a supply chain college or university program. Ability to commute to our head office in Burlington, ON, 5 days a week. Excellent customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Excel. Ability to speak French will be considered an asset.
