**Carpenter Lead Hand and Foreman - North Vancouver, BC, British Columbia (Job Number: 228464)**:
**PCL Constructors Westcoast Inc.** is looking for experienced **Carpenter Lead Hands and Foremen** to join us for projects in** Vancouver**.

**Wages**: Starting at $41.04/hr, plus vacation and statutory holiday pay
- Understand, implement and enforce PCL's HSE program as well as local safety legislation and lead their crews accordingly
- Capable of supervising crews in a safe and efficient manner, leading by example
- Have strong leadership qualities and take pride in their work
- Sets clear expectations for safety, quality and productivity of all tasks.
- Be familiar with field concepts, practices and procedures.
- Having good knowledge of the construction, erection and installation of wood and engineered formwork systems for decks, columns and walls.
- Supervise and perform the installation of wood backing and other various carpentry duties.
- Work cohesively with the PCL project team, consultants and inspectors to meet the project requirements
- Understand the schedule and set attainable expectations with the crews
- Supervise and coordinate site construction activities with sub-trades and PCL’s own skilled craft workers
- Carpenter Lead Hand's should have 1 or more years of experience in a field supervisory role
- Carpenter Foremen should have 2 or more years of construction experience in field supervision/foreman in Institutional, Commercial, Industrial or Civil construction
- Hold a valid Journeyperson trade certificate or have equivalent experience in the industry
- Be available to work overtime, evenings and weekends as the project might require
