Supervisor

Children's Support Solutions by LifeWorks

Supporting Toronto, Aurora, and Mississauga locations (Travel Required)

Permanent Full Time

The Supervisor is responsible for representing Children’s Support Solutions within the community and internally within LifeWorks, and will be expected to participate in or lead initiatives related to community outreach and relationship building, development and implementation of client and corporate presentations, and quality assurance.

Collaborate with family members, multidisciplinary team members and other health care professionals to achieve excellence in health services and education and promote the values, principles and professional public profile of Children’s Support Solutions by responding to the needs of clients and providing a high-quality standard of healthcare services. This will extend to their ongoing onboarding, training, coaching and performance management of members of the team. Ensure high quality of clinical activities through supervision, peer consultation, and file auditing.

**Responsibilities**:
- Supervises provider network and ensures adherence to best clinical and administrative practices with regards to specific contractual and/or client standards and performance guarantees in contracts with external organizations.- Implementing clinical, professional and ethical standards as outlined by the relevant professional and licensing bodies.- Accountable for revenue generation and cost containment.- Perform any other duties that are from time to time deemed necessary by the Operations Manager or Director.

**Requirements**:
- Master's degree in speech language pathology, occupational therapy and/or psychology- Completed requisite hours of supervised experience in the delivery of assessment, direct treatment and consultation with a pediatric population- Accreditation and in good standing as per provincial governing bodies to act as a regulated health professional in your field- Academic and/or on the job experience directing/leading a team of professionals in a health services organization, such as supervision of employees, students and interns- Ability to work in cooperation with Program Manager/Director, interdisciplinary colleagues, family members, schools and other providers to coordinate and plan services- Maintains current knowledge of existing and emerging requirements of discipline specific standards of practice, and a solid understanding of the philosophies behind these regulations- Capacity to investigate and respond to Quality Assurance concerns/feedback and performance manage employees and contractors within the team
