Job description

JTL Integrated Machine LTD is one of the largest CNC machining facilities and fabrication shops in North America.

**Duties**:

- Preparing customer quotations
- Obtaining cost estimates from suppliers
- Prepare materials, labour and equipment cost estimations necessary to successfully carry out a construction project according to proposals, plans, estimates and specifications.
- Prepare and/or coordinate the preparation of full cost estimates on conceptual, design-build or general tender work
- Establish unit costs, labour rates, productivity factors and location impacts.
- Support other department personnel by preparing estimates for other disciplines.
- Review design options and recommend best solution based on cost, engineering quality, or availability of materials
- Provide technical assistance in negotiating contracts, change orders, etc. as required.

**Skills Required**:

- 5 years of solid CNC machine shop experience on a CNC machine
- Experience in estimating an asset
- Completion of College/Technical Training or equivalent.
- Must have a proven background in machine shop operations and be capable of preparing complete costing estimates.
- Capable of reading and understanding engineered drawings and documents.
- Knowledge of fabrication and welding.
- Excellent time management, planning and organization skills and ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Solid computer skills including experience in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

**Salary**: $45,575.00-$60,000.00 per year
