**Role and Responsibilities** As part of the Civil PMO, Governance & Continuous Improvement team, the Business Analyst partners with the SPC Program Management team to provide data compilation, analysis and reporting services that enable effective decision-making. This role has direct communication with senior leadership and will interface with various functions of the organization, including but not limited to: Finance, Sales, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Sales Operations and IT. The Business Analyst provides the SPC Program Management team data compilation, analysis and reporting services to enable informed decision-making in the following domains (not an exhaustive list): - Profiling accuracy - Ops savings - Financial forecasting - PRC analysis/ETC cleanup - Risks & Opportunities - Training/Spares/G&S - Cash collection - Holdbacks - Financial topsheets - Manloading - Quarterly S&OP - Lessons learned trend analysis - Cost Performance/Profitability/GM analysis - Shortages and parts issues with active participation on resolution identification and monitoring of results - Project snag resolution budget needs after RFT - Ad-hoc analysis to support business operations In addition the Business Analyst will - Support the development of tools to visualize and monitor business performance - Review and analyze processes, tools and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement - Support the maintenance of project databases and ensure data integrity **Requirements**: - University degree (preferably in a business field of study) - PMP certification an asset - Accounting designation an asset - 3+ years of corporate experience in business, financial, data analysis, performance reporting or a combination of relevant professional experience - Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel: pivot tables and VLOOKUP, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) - Proficient with Power BI or other BI tools is an asset - Highly proficient in PLW and Oracle - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Easily adapts to changing priorities - Ability for critical thinking - Strong attention to detail - An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving - Ability to identify trends, patterns and insights from data. - Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams - Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of data - Exceptional time management skills - Ability to present complex information in a simplified way to various audiences LI-CG1 **Position Type** Regular CAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
