**Design Drafter - Critical Environments**
- Develop detailed designs for products using CAD software
- Complete high-quality drawing packages for customers and manufacturing cells in a timely manner
- Resolve and consult with others to correct design problems between manufacturing and engineering
- Draft technical details including bill of materials, as well as position instructions and comments
- Prepare engineering drawings that detail plans and specifications
- Coordinate complex designs from conception through design meetings, test orders, and factory coordination
- Graduated from a Mechanical Engineering Technology or Drafting program
- An understanding of basic manufacturing processes and principles
- Familiarity with reading mechanical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in Solid Edge or SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Hands-on experience or basic understanding of power tools, hand tools, etc.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to problem solve with others in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous experience in manufacturing or HVAC industry would be considered an asset
