Laz Authentic Cuisine Inc is looking for positive, energetic, confident, and passionate servers that believe and understands exceptional customer service.

As a server, you are expected to meet and greet guest with a friendly, natural, genuine warm welcome.

You must be able assist, recommend and guide guest if they have any inquiries about the menus or special dietary.

**Requirements**:

- 0-3+ years customer service experience in restaurant environment
- A desire to learn and grow through personal and career development
- Positive and Energetic
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
- Food handler certification is an asset
- Smart serve certification is an asset

Responsibility
- Set dining room for service
- Demonstrate consistency in treating all guest with the same respect
- Provide friendly and informed response to questions regarding menu and wine selections.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation.
- Respect yourself and your teammates
- Multi-tasking, listening, and providing advice on menu while promoting items on the menu
- Resolve customer issues in a positive manner
- Correctly entering guest orders into the POS system

Laz Authentic Cuisine Inc. is a new upscale restaurant located on Main st, Markham. We provide patrons with an authentic, traditional, and infused Caribbean menus in a Caribbean ambiance with light live entertainment to suit a special occasion, quiet evening, business entertainment or fine dining services, in an upscale Caribbean dining environment. Its catering arm and predecessor, Laz Catering, provides catering and event management services to clients seeking to celebrate their special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, retirement parties, cocktail parties and celebrations of life.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $15.00-$22.75 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
- Tips

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Markham, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- serving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Smart Serve (preferred)
