Data Destruction and IT Support

**Data Destruction Responsibilities: (70% workload)**
- Data erasure of storage devices such as Mobile devices, SATA, SSD, SAS and other data containing devices using a wiping software.
- Physical Data destruction of storage devices such as Mobile devices, SATA, SSD, SAS and other data containing devices.
- Implementation of Quality Control Process for the data erasure and data destruction process.
- Generating Reports from the results of data destruction/erasure.
- The technician will be trained in the data destruction process and will work closely with the Data Protection Officer.
**IT Support Responsibilities: (30% workload)**
- Ability to operate, manage and test network switches, servers, hubs and routers.
- Install and configure software and computer systems.
- Test, evaluate, and make recommendations about new technology for the business.
- Active Directory account support
- Computer hardware maintenance/cleaning/repair
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Desktop OS, Windows Server, Office/ERP Software
- Routers and Network Switches configurations
- ERP Support and Ticket Escalation
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Proven experience as Network/IT support technician or relevant position.
- Knowledge of various storage devices and how it works.
- Outstanding diagnostic, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Good knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, Network protocols and network technologies.
- Hands-on experience with common software and basic hardware troubleshoot/repair.
- Ability or willingness to learn and write basic SQL queries to manipulate data.
- Ability or willingness to learn and use scripting language for data manipulation tasks; Python, C++, Javaand Javascript.
- CompTIA A+, Network +, CCNA or similar certifications are a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 and NIST SP 800-88 R1 are a plus but not required.
- BSc/BA in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field.
**Working Hours**: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM
**Compensation**: TBD
