Home Hardware has an exciting opportunity to join our Merchandise Services team as a **Compliance Reporting Analyst**. Reporting to the Manager, Compliance and Sustainability, this position will be responsible for evaluating, reviewing, and implementing the compliance framework within the organization by driving compliance between suppliers, corporate team and Store Owners.

**Please note this is a 12 month contract position.**

**What you’ll do**:

- Assist in developing/implementing programs and controls inclusive of strategies and process modifications to reduce waste, improve efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, etc.
- Evaluate KPIs to identify opportunities to improve existing programs.
- Manage Safety Data Sheet (SDS) database and process to ensure availability of up-to-date SDS for Staff and Consumers as items are listed/delisted/etc. Ensure CAS#s are up to date in SDS database.
- Monitor SDS Inbox and respond to consumer inquiries/requests regarding SDS and WHMIS 2015/GHS compliance.
- Prepare reports to respond to mandatory Chemical Management Plan notices/surveys.
- Report on Item packaging by SKU#, inclusive of Coordinating the collection of actual packaging data from various internal and external sources.
- Gather Environmental Handling Fee (EHF) information, develop internal communications, report/remit monthly/quarterly/annual EHF to appropriate programs.
- Support both annual and monthly reviews/audits of packaging data accuracy, provide reports and analysis as required. Continue to utilize best practice methodologies for reporting and data collection.
- Complete external audits to ensure compliance with EPR programs across Canada.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a reporting or compliance role.
- College or University Degree/Diploma in Business, Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to learn and utilize the Home Hardware systems (Oracle, RMS, Discoverer) to access and extract required data to verify compliance.
- Ability to read and interpret government legislations and Data stewardship program policies.
- Good communication skills, written and verbal.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Analytical and researching skills.
- Organization skills and attention to detail.
