**Position**: Aquarium and Exotic Pets Specialist (2 or more years experience)
**Location**: Downtown Toronto
**Employment Type**: Part-time

As an Aquarium and Exotic Pets Specialist, you will be responsible for:

- Assisting customers in selecting appropriate aquarium setups, livestock, and supplies.
- Providing expert advice on aquarium maintenance, water chemistry, and fish/invertebrate care.
- Educating customers on the care requirements of exotic pets such as reptiles, amphibians, and small mammals.
- Performing water testing and analysis to maintain optimal aquatic environments.
- Handling and feeding exotic animals while adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the store’s aquatic and exotic pet sections.
- Participating in inventory management and stocking of products.

**Requirements**:

- Passion for and knowledge of aquarium keeping and exotic pet care.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to learn and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy aquarium equipment and animal habitats.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: Up to $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
