**Planate Management Group is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, USA with a technical support center in the Philippines that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies**.**

The Contract Specialist will be responsible for analyzing all the requirements and provisions in contracts, including terms and conditions, to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations and company policies and procedures.

**Salary**: Our salary range for this position is based on the market data, CA$,20.00 to CA$ 30.00 PER HOUR (the offer depends on the experience).

**Key responsibilities**:

- Reviews requests for proposals to identify risks and contractual terms not conforming to Company policy
- Conduct analysis of new laws, regulations, and contract trends to determine the potential impact on the business
- Management of company contract life cycle for prime contracts, subcontracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Teaming Agreements (TAs)
- Maintain contract templates and develop new templates as needed and make them accessible to relevant personnel
- Collaborate with the Company compliance team to ensure pre-contract partners' checks and to ensure that legal provisions and provisions on insurance are acceptable
- Participate in contract negotiations as necessary
- Work with the Finance team to ensure that payment details and terms are acceptable
- Work with risk management to ensure that risks under contract are acceptable
- Serve as lead in composing final drafts of contracts, including working with Program Managers to ensure that proper scope of works is included
- Manage subcontracting process and award of specific project scope with teaming partners and vendors, administer awarded subcontracts
- Collect internal approvals; sign; store signed contracts; issue representation and certifications forms and any other forms and notifications (annual or ad hoc) based on the contracts; track signed contracts and contractual partners; track with compliance insurance policies to be issued or requested
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
