Cambridge, Canada African Lion Safari - Koho Food Service Full time

**Operational Duties**
- Ensure the safe operation of the food services facilities, for employees and customers
- Active participation in the Health & Safety Committee
- Assist with the day to day operations of all food service locations throughout the park and any catered functions
- Carry out administrative functions pertaining to hiring, training, payroll and performance reviews of all seasonal staff for the operating and catering seasons
- Assist with scheduling of staff for the park as well as catering functions
- Assist with initial startup and final take down of all food service locations each season
- Set up of the banquet hall for any catered functions as required

**Inventory & Cash Functions**
- Assist with product inventory on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as required
- Assist with all cash functions, ensuring that proper cash controls are in place and are being stringently observed
- Assist in the generation of all month end/yearend figures
- Ensure the delivery of products to the restaurant are correct and that proper rotation of product is occurring

**Qualifications and Experience**
- 2-3 years supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of computers and POS systems
- Strong food service background
- Ability to communicate, motivate and lead effectively
- Works well under pressure, able to manage priorities
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Previous experience with QSR
- Food Safe Certification
- Drivers license
- First Aid
- Smart Serve certified
- Health and Safety certified (an asset)

This is a full time position that requires working evenings, weekends and holidays as required. We offer a competitive remuneration and benefit package.

Wage commensurate with experience.
