The Collections Supervisor will be responsible for managing an assigned collections team, handling collector escalations, and driving daily collections revenue while motivating the team in a positive manner. This role will involve the training and development of the Collections team along with managing and auditing their day-to-day performance. A key aspect of the role will involve achieving monthly & quarterly KPI’s

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Create a positive and motivating environment, while following collection guidelines and policies
- Provide initial and ongoing coaching & training to new hires and our existing workforce
- Communicate and implement changes in policy and procedures as needed within the Collections team
- Ensure that all KPI’s for the department are met. Prepare & deliver action plans in the event KPI’s are not met.
- Ensure work standards are being met with a focus on reducing delinquency and improving customer satisfaction
- Design and implement strategies to motivate the Collections Team to achieve departmental goals
- Performs other duties as required

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- High school diploma or _GED_ required
- Strong collections experience coupled with excellent troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively manage a partial workforce in a “work from home environment”
- Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills
- Highly flexible with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
- Computer literate, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel and E-mail
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
