**About SkyAlyne**

SkyAlyne is a team of defense, training, simulation, and aviation industry experts assembled from across Canada, working to prepare the next generation of RCAF Pilots and Aircrew as the Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) program provider for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). SkyAlyne was formed in 2018 as a partnership between CAE and KF Aerospace, two Canadian aviation, training, and defense leaders. The partnership was built to jointly answer the call for the Government of Canada’s FAcT program. In 2023 SkyAlyne was named the preferred bidder, and in 2024, was officially contracted to partner with the RCAF and deliver the FAcT program. We are now building a new team to deliver the FAcT program.

The scope of the FAcT program includes all training and in-service support requirements needed to prepare Pilots, Air Combat Systems Officers, and Airborne Electronic Sensor Operators to meet the future aerospace requirements of the RCAF. The FAcT program is overseen from a Joint Management Office at SkyAlyne’s Ottawa headquarters in Kanata, with three operational bases: Moose Jaw, SK, Southport, MB, and Winnipeg, MB.

In collaboration with the Government of Canada and several major Canadian subcontractors, Team SkyAlyne will provide live-flying, simulator and classroom-based training, facilities construction and management, information management and information technology support, site support services, aircraft maintenance and much more.

**Job Overview**

The Configuration Management Coordinator will provide support in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of configuration management processes across the FAcT program. The role focuses on ensuring that Configuration Management (CM) processes are applied to all Configuration Items generated throughout the program lifecycle from the initial requirements and capabilities baselines to the transition-out phase. The Configuration Management Coordinator will support configuration audits and work with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools. The Configuration Management Coordinator will work as part of the System Engineering and Integration Team to ensure consistency, accuracy, and proper documentation of configuration items and configuration management procedures.

**Duties and Responsibilities**- Collaborate closely with Configuration Management team and support multiple project teams to ensure changes to data and information are accurately defined, traceable, and visible throughout their lifecycle.- Leverage configuration management knowledge and experience to support configuration management priorities within a structured framework.- Assist with processing and registering configuration data items received from various subcontractors.- Coordinate and maintain configuration management processes, procedures and tools, ensuring lifecycle accuracy and visibility of information baselines.- Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on Configuration and Document Management rules, process and requirements.- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree or a Diploma in Information Management, Data Management or a related field and/or a combination of related education and experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Configuration Management.
- Strong understanding of Configuration Management concepts and principles.
- Experience developing, documenting, and maintaining Configuration Management processes and procedures.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. Pivot tables, formulas).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams, customers, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working on Department of National Defence projects would be an asset.
- Be able to hold a Government of Canada Security Clearance (Secret level) and Controlled Goods Clearance.
- Eligible to work in Canada.
- Strong oral and written English language capabilities.
- Fluency in French would be an asset.
