We are looking for an experienced sessional instructor to join the University Transfer Instructional Team for the Fall 2025 and Winter 2026 semesters to teach one or two sections of English 2550 “Introduction to Composition” and/or one or two sections of English 2510 “Scientific and Technical Writing.”

This position requires a flexible schedule, including some evening and weekend work.

This position will start September 2025 and potentially continue on into the Winter 2026 term, pending enrollment in sections. Course format is face-to-face or online synchronous, depending on the section. Instructors for the course provide feedback and guidance using the learning management system (Misiwe, formerly Moodle).

**HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE**:

- Plan and prepare for the instructional delivery of ENGL 2550/2510.
- Instruct and evaluate students in ENGL 2550/2510.
- Maintain student and program records for your section of ENGL 2550/2510.
- Collaborate with and contribute to the instructional team as needed.

**WHAT YOU BRING**:

- Master’s degree in English or associated field.- If your education was received internationally we recommend you obtain an international education assessment through IQAS, WES, or one of the other nationally designated organizations.

- Experience teaching under-represented student populations, international students, Indigenous students, and mature students.
- Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle, Kaltura, and/ or other educational technologies considered an asset.
