What you will be doing
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles, including job posting, screening, interviews, offers and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs to effectively develop and execute recruitment strategies for assigned functions.
- Lead in the development of sourcing strategies for hard to fill positions.
- Remain current with market initiatives and proactively seek opportunities to promote Sandvik.
- Establish relationships with local organizations, institutes, and establishments to create and maintain talent pipeline for applicable roles.
- Participate in various talent acquisition events including, but not limited to, professional and academic career fairs, networking, industry, and community events.
- Assist with reporting and metrics to track recruitment performance and trends.
- Maintain and update recruitment activity in our HR systems (Workday).
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies throughout all recruitment processes.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed.
What you will bring along
- _ Fluency in both English and French language is required_
- Postsecondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field of study.
- Experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in a fast-paced or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of the mining industry would be an asset.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple roles and priorities.
- Comprehensive understanding of employment legislation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS/ATS systems (Workday experience is an asset).
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
- A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
