Für unser Materialprüflabor in Montreal (Saint-Laurent) suchen wir derzeit einen allgemeinen Arbeiter/Maschinenbediener, der gerne in einem talentierten und dynamischen Team mitarbeitet. In dieser Position werden Sie an der Vorbereitung von Prüfkörpern für eine Vielzahl von Verbundwerkstoffen für die Sanierung mitwirken. Wir suchen eine hoch motivierte, mechanisch veranlagte Person mit guten Kenntnissen und Erfahrungen in einem oder mehreren der folgenden Bereiche.

Stellenbeschreibung
- Schneiden von Metall-, Kunststoff
- und Verbundwerkstoffen mit einer vertikalen Bansäge, Handwerkzeugen (Kreissäge, Tischsäge, Bohrmaschine usw.) und maschineller Bearbeitung gemäß den dokumentierten Verfahren.
- Fotografieren von Mustern nach dokumentierten Verfahren
- Messen von Mustern mit einem Messschieber, einem Mikrometer und anderen Messwerkzeugen

Erforderliche Kenntnisse:

- Fließende Beherrschung der englischen und französischen Sprache. Die Stelle erfordert die Koordination und Kommunikation in englischer Sprache mit unserer Hauptniederlassung in Concord, ON
- Grundlegende Mathematikkenntnisse
- Grundlegende Computerkenntnisse sind von Vorteil

We are currently looking for a General Laborer/ Machine Operator for our Montreal (Saint-Laurent) Materials Testing Laboratory who enjoys collaborating within a talented and energetic team. In this position, you will participate in the preparation of test specimens on a wide variety of composite rehabilitation materials. We are looking for a highly motivated, mechanically inclined individual with good knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas.
- Cut metal, plastic and composite materials using a vertical bansaw, hand tools (circular saw, table saw, drill, etc.) and machine to shape according to documented procedures.
- Take photographs of samples according to documented procedures
- Measure samples using a caliper, micrometer and other measurement tools

**Required skills**:

- Fluency in English and French. The position requires coordination and communication in English with our head office in Concord, ON
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills are an asset
- Valid driving license
- Highly motivated to succeed within the company

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
