Our award-winning TEMPO Food+Drink restaurant serves up hearty, authentic Canadian comfort food, handcrafted cocktails and Instagram worthy specials in a lively and vibrant setting. Reporting to the Sous Chef, this individual will be responsible for providing consistent and quality food offerings while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
We are looking for a full-time Kitchen Steward that is available evenings and weekends to support our kitchen team by maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a smooth workflow in the kitchen, while adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
**What you will be doing**:

- Operating dishwashers efficiently.
- Washing glassware and flatware.
- Polishing all glassware and flatware.
- Cleaning and sanitizing dishwasher mats, dish carts and dish racks.
- Responsible for receiving, stocking and organizing food and supply orders.
- Safely handling and storing cleaning products.
- General dish area maintenance which includes sweeping, mopping, organization and removal of garbage and compost.
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

**The person we are looking for has**:

- Previous experience working in a dishwasher role or similar environment an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to take direction and remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
- Organizational skills and an ability to multi-task
- Able to spend 100% of the time standing
- The ability to handle heavy lifting up 50 lbs
