- We are seeking a Quality Control Analysts to join our QC Analytics team to perform routine QC analytical assays and support the development of Aspect’s bioprinted cell therapies. In this role, you will use your collaborative approach and knowledge of analytical assays to provide support and validation of analytical methods. Periodically, you may be requested to assist in cell culture and bioprocessing tasks associated with assay setup or execution. You will also participate in quality tasks such as OOS/OOT investigations, deviations, change controls, and risk assessments.
**What You’ll Do**:
- Execute routine QC analytic assays such as microscopy (brightfield and fluorescence), qPCR, ELISA, and other QC Analytics functions on raw materials, in-process samples, and final produce samples as needed. Experience in flow cytometry would be considered an asset but not required.
- Support mammalian cell culture and other aseptic processes related to qualifying bioprinted cell therapies.
- Participate in laboratory equipment (IOQ) and method (CMC) qualification activities.
- Participate in peer review of QC Analytics generated data.
- Generate reports, analyze trends, and present findings to colleagues, as needed.
- Participate in laboratory and product excursion investigations (Alert, Action, and OOS/OOT) to support process improvement.
- Collaborating with multiple team activities to meet project deliverables and timelines.
- Participate in building and implementing GxP protocols to support product development.
- Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and other relevant control documentation.
- Ensure your GMP and job specific training status remains up-to-date.
- Support routine laboratory operations such as equipment cleaning, inventory control, and logbook management.
**Who You Are**:
- **Education**: BSc or MSc in biology, biomedical engineering, experimental medicine, biotechnology, or related discipline.
- ** Professional Experience**:You have 2+ years of hands-on experience conducting analytical assays. Prior experience with GMP and Quality Management System (QMS) will be beneficial but not required.
- **Detail-Oriented**:You have outstanding attention to detail as well as process rigour. You have excellent oral and written communication skills. You take pride in your work and strive for excellence.
- ** Intellectually Curious**:You have a burning desire to learn more and aren’t afraid to ask questions.
- ** Collaborative**:You thrive in a multi-disciplinary team environment and believe that we can get further, faster by working together.
