Quality Control Analyst, Cell Separation

**Job Description Summary**:

Our Cell Separation team is composed of excellent communicators and troubleshooters in order to ensure scientists across the globe are effectively positively and negatively selecting for their cells of interest. You are inquisitive, someone who is able to dissect the components at the bench or through documents to identify areas for improvement. Our Quality Control team blends your academic scientific background with business and industry understanding, and will provide an exposure to our vast cell separation portfolio.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Testing our cell separation products by planning, testing, and analyzing experiments
- Consistently documenting data into reports while disseminating information within your team, across quality control groups, and cross-departmentally
- Support Quality Control Specialists, Scientists, and Managers, building your cell and quality expertise through their mentorship
- Operate laboratory equipment such as flow cytometers and biologicals while maintaining a safe and confidential environment
- Participate and comply according to the Quality Management System (QMS), including contributing to Non-Compliances (NCRs), deviations, and Corrective Actions, Preventative Actions (CAPAs)

**Knowledge and Qualifications**
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a Life Sciences field with relevant co-op experience as an asset
- Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WI), with an ability to follow and write scientific protocols
- Excellent communication skills in-person, virtually, and through presentations
- Proficient aseptic technique with an ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks
- Flexibility to access both Vancouver and Burnaby laboratory spaces

The annual base salary for this job ranges from:
$56,270.00 - $76,100.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
