Product Analyst

**Why you’ll love this role**:
In this role you will work closely with our business partners, initiatives and development teams, supporting the analysis, development, evolution and maintenance of Group Solutions Benefits products.

As a self-starter motivated to achieve results, you will roll up sleeves and focus on product analysis and implementation of projects/initiatives supporting our strategy. Within a small team, you are curious, proactive, analytical, commercially minded and display a high degree of accountability with a strong sense of urgency.

**What you’ll be working on**:

- Liaise with cross functional work teams (Development, Initiatives, Operations, Finance/Actuarial) to execute and deliver new products or product changes through the entire implementation lifecycle beginning with project initiation and planning through operational execution and ongoing in-market monitoring.- Conduct detailed data gathering and analysis on product profitability, product usage and pricing.- Support initiatives with detailed requirements specifications, process and journey mapping and product specification documentation.- Conduct user acceptance testing.- Produce/coordinate product related deliverables such as documentation and process maps.- Working with Communications, support the sales team by development of product marketing materials.- Conduct market competitive analysis.
- Handle day-to-day needs of existing products/services including inquiries/issues from internal stakeholders, resolving problems and identify improvement opportunities.

**What you’ll need to have**:

- Completion of a university degree with a focus on analytics and data (Business, Finance, Engineering, Science)- 3+ years work experience in a product management/business or analyst capacity- Strong mathematical and analytical skills (high proficiency in excel and data visualization management software e.g. PowerBI).- Knowledge on project management methodologies and tools to meet deadlines and deliver on projects- Excellent organizational skills - able to balance multiple priorities and ensure execution of deliverables- Experience in the Group Benefits or Financial Services space- Customer centric orientation and market focused outlook- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Collaboration and negotiation skills

**It would be nice for you to have**:

- Business Analysis experience- Bilingualism
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation achieved or in progress
