- Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, rest periods, and mileage as required by law.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Handle loading and unloading of freight, utilizing forklifts when necessary.
- Ensure proper documentation is completed for each load, including bills of lading and shipping manifests.
- Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to maintain the vehicle's operational efficiency.
- Operate heavy equipment safely when required during loading or unloading processes.

**Skills**
- Minimum 2 years of Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills for maintaining logs and documentation.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with dispatchers, clients, and team members.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively during long hauls.
