**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Schedule and dispatch HVAC technicians based on availability, location, and skill set.
- Monitor technician progress and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate emergencies or delays.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding appointment times, delays, and service updates.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, technician assignments, and job completion.
- Coordinate with warehouse and parts departments to ensure technicians have necessary materials.
- Assist with invoicing, work order processing, and data entry as needed.
- Provide administrative support to the service department and management team.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business or administration is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in dispatching, preferably in HVAC, plumbing, or related trades.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency with dispatching software, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with HVAC terminology and service processes.
- Experience using field service management software - e.g. Build Ops

**Working Conditions**:

- Office-based role with frequent phone and computer use.
