Who are we?

A new modern grooming salon at the base of Whistler mountain, proudly using eco-friendly local products and prioritizing positive grooming experience to both dogs and their owners. We also have a small retail section filled with handmade/sustainable goods

What are we looking for?

Experienced dog groomer that is knowledgeable on various breeds, specifically **doodles** (80% of our clientele). As we are a tourist destination, we see a wide variety of dogs. From trail runners, lake swimmers and visiting city purebreds. Be prepared to have the patience to groom it all (frequently groomed/heavily matted/ muddy/ snow-covered...). Customer service is our number one quality. Communicative, socially confident, resourceful, and willing to go above and beyond for our valued clients.

Have you been working in a crowded city salon, dogs and people shouting all day? Dreaming of having your own beautiful space and starting fresh somewhere new? Our year-old salon is set up to operate with one groomer and one assistant, which means that you can practice your art in a more independent and relaxed atmosphere. Located at the base of the mountain, you will be surrounded by nature all the while being minutes away from the Whistler village (shops, gym, restaurants, etc.).

- Style and trim fur using appropriate grooming techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
- Offer excellent customer service

- Previous experience as a pet groomer is required
- Knowledge of different dog breeds and their specific grooming needs
- Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments with care and patience
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality grooming results
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently

Note: Heavy lifting may be required when handling larger dogs or moving equipment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
