Dog Groomer

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Bathing, drying, and brushing pets to prepare them for grooming
- Trimming and styling fur according to breed standards or customer preferences
- Cleaning ears, clipping nails, and performing other health-related grooming tasks
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary grooming station at all times
- Handling pets gently and safely throughout the grooming process
- Communicating effectively with pet owners regarding grooming needs and aftercare instructions
- Managing appointment schedules and ensuring timely service delivery

**Skills**
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners
- Experience with various grooming tools and techniques for different breeds
- Ability to handle pets calmly and safely, especially during heavy lifting or restraining when necessary
- Attention to detail to ensure each pet’s grooming is thorough and meets quality standards
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting of pets and standing for extended periods
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and excellent communication skills
