About the Role

Based on-site at our Calgary Head Office.

The Junior E-Merchandising Specialist will be responsible for merchandising products and content on Visions.ca. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow your career in E-Commerce & Digital Marketing while working for one of Canada’s largest Consumer Electronics Retailers. Reporting to the Manager, E-Commerce, you will work closely with the E-Commerce team and will deliver projects, campaigns and optimizations to drive the continuous improvement of the on-site experience and support the growth of the E-Commerce channel.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create, manage and optimize products through our Content Management Systems.
- Work closely with category buyers, third-party vendors, marketing and graphic design teams to build pages on the website.
- Perform regular QA, factual accuracy of specifications, marketing materials, etc. on products and pages on the website.
- Set up and manage promotions in line with the relevant marketing calendar. Working cross-functionally to ensure promotions are executed accurately.
- Ensure products and pages meet visual and code standards.
- Checking factual accuracy of specifications, marketing materials, etc.
- Support the E-Commerce team with analysis, reporting and ad hoc tasks.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma required, Post-secondary in a related field preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast agile environment and dealing with change with a positive attitude.
- 1-2 years experience working with Content Management Systems.
- 1-2 years experience working with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- 1-2 years experience working in Retail preferred.
- 1-2 years experience in marketing.
- Working experience with HTML and CSS.
- Previous experience with Google Analytics.
- Basic understanding of SEO, Digital Marketing and E-commerce best practices.
- Solid team player, great communication skills, continuous willingness to learn.
