**As a Bilingual Specialist, Debt Solutions your responsibilities will include**:

- Assisting the firm in the development and growth of its existing insolvency practice in the your community and surrounding areas
- Conducting initial interviews and meetings with debtors, including doing the sign up
- Timely follow up on potential debtors
- Input debtor documentation and workbook into Ascend and prepare sign up documents
- Review files for comparison and appropriateness
- Ensure full compliance with the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and directives in the delivery of service
- Building positive working relationships with debtors, referral sources, the Office of Superintendent (OSB) and all other stakeholders
- Assess clients’ budget plans and financial goals
- Deliver an excellent and empathetic experience for the clients
- Communicating with clients, creditors and other third parties
- Monitor the status and progress of debt relief options and filings

- College diploma in Business Administration, Paralegal or a related field preferred
- Exceptional and demonstrated interpersonal skills to relate with clients and liaise with team members
- High computer literacy including the ability to learn new programs and previous experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently
- Demonstrated experience with verbal and written communication skills to compose various documents and speak effectively with clients, staff, and other third parties in-person, on the phone or in a virtual meeting environment
