**AEES - Student Supervisor**:

- **Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education**
** Annapolis East Elementary School**
- **Student Supervisor - 1.00 hour per day (1 pm - 2pm)**
- **Starting Wages: $18.38 per hour*** Terms and conditions of employment, including wages, are in accordance with the Nova Scotia Government and General Employees Union (NSGEU) Local 73 Bargaining Unit.**
Student supervisors provide indoor and/or outdoor general student supervision.
- **Qualifications and Abilities**:

- Develop and maintain positive rapport with students.
- Current CPR and First Aid training.
- Previous experience working with children and/or adolescents.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and take initiative.
- Bona fide occupational requirements of the position, including physical ability.
**Responsibilities include**:

- Provide supervision for students before and after school, during the lunch and recess breaks.
- Familiarization of any medical or programs students may have (e.g. specific behaviour plans).
- Report to the principal or designate any problem or discipline issue that occurred during supervision.
- Other duties that are site specific (polices and protocol) and within the scope of responsibility of the position.
