The search is on for a social media personality to run a sports (hockey) focused Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter account on behalf of a renowned brand in partnership with the Toronto Maple Leafs. The account’s mission is to connect people by building a community of like-minded followers, inspire dialogue, and deliver key brand messaging - both in-person and online.

This opportunity allows you to represent a brand while engaging with its consumers. As the social media manager, you will be active both online and regularly around the city at events. Your role will be to engage with people in the social sphere and in real life. You have a knack for drawing in a crowd and can utilize your brand knowledge to connect on an authentic and positive level with consumers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for being onsite at every Maple Leafs home game throughout the season (inclusive of pre-season, regular season, and playoffs)
- Responsible for posting regularly across Instagram, Twitter, & Facebook
- Creating engaging text, images, and video content that creates conversation and sparks buzz
- Responsible for being onsite at events in Toronto/GTA to capture content as needed
- Researching audience preferences and current trends
- Creation and management of content calendars & promotion schedules
- Management of organic and paid post performance
- Merchandise/rewarding followers, distributing prizes and tracking the distribution
- Overseeing holistic social strategy of organic & paid posts to ensure a complete brand presence and consistency in brand personality across social channels.
- Organizing/participating in brainstorming sessions between teams to develop detailed plan of social amplification strategy and creative ideas
- Managing social measurement tools
- Analyzing regular performance data to figure out tactics in optimizing post performance, reporting on metrics and trends weekly
- Oversee social media accounts’ layout and flow

**Requirements**:

- Expertise in multiple social media platforms
- Ability to deliver creative content
- Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
- Excellent communication skills
- Punctuality and accountability
- Ability to draw conclusions and make suggestions from reporting and analytics
- Access to vehicle or reliable transportation
- Knowledge of sports is necessary
- Comfortability in front of the camera being filmed/hosting segments considered a strong asset
