**NFCD is a local craft distiller and co packer producing a wide variety of beverages. The Operations Process Coordinator will assist the Operations Team with a variety of process improvement initiatives along with upgrading some of the current systems as the Niagara Falls facility to move and improve processes as well as gather valuable information. The position will provide support to the Supervision staff as well as other members of the Operations Management team.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting Production Manager in implementing strategies and tactics to hit production metrics, standard tracking
- Assist the Production Team within the guidelines provided by the Ministries of Safety and Environment.
- Follow up on safety and quality issues using root cause investigation techniques
- Provide assistance with process improvements in the areas of:

- planning - i.e. work on creating batch sequencing
- manufacturing - i.e. production line improvements
- work instructions and training manuals - create/update current system
- create process flows of current processes
- process audits
- Assist in the Operations Management in the creation/upgrade of
- Preventative maintenance program
- Implementation of capital projects
- Production spare parts identification and cataloguing
- Provide assistance/lead in Sustainability projects
- Waste analysis
- Recycling Strategy
- Water Reduction
- Create and implement project plans and execution
- Meeting with production managers to assess existing processes.
- Drafting process ideas to reduce costs and improve production rates.
- Performing risk assessments.
- Designing and testing process upgrades and new process systems.
- Ensuring processes comply with safety and quality standards.
- Performing process simulations and troubleshooting issues.
- Performing optimization tests.
- Developing routines and best practices to ensure product quality.
- Developing standardized operating instructions for the upgrades process.
- Providing the Product Manager with process documents and standard operating procedures.
- Monitoring upgrades systems.

**Job-Related Skills**

Ø Excellent computer skills (Office, Outlook, Access)

Ø Must have initiative (self starter)

Ø Previous manufacturing experience is an asset
- Knowledge of manufacturing tools and equipment
- IT skills, especially using data analysis software
- Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to create and adhere to production processes
- Ability to write reports legibly and accurately
- Relevant training and certification in industrial production, engineering, or any related field

**Salary**: $36,675.15-$55,000.00 per year
