Vaughan, Canada Capital Infrastructure Group Inc. Full time

**Capital Infrastructure Group.** ("CIG"), a leading construction and general contracting company, and is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join its team. In this role, you will play an integral part in ensuring collections are made and posted in a timely manner while adhering to budgets and corporate procedures. **Responsibilities** - A/R collections - Various calls & letters - Progress payment certificates - Sub-contractor payments - Change Orders - Enter cash receipts - Following up with past-due accounts for collections - Keeping management and executives informed of any issues - Answering any billing questions that clients might have - Receiving and handling invoicing and billing-related mail - Communicating with other department heads regularly - Addressing any billing discrepancies - Generating financial reports and statements that detail the status of accounts receivable - Maintaining a filing system **Requirements**: - 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (Experience in the construction industry will be considered an asset) - Ability to meet tight deadlines - Established analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including experience using Excel at an intermediate level - Excellent professional communication and organizational skills - Strong problem-solving skills - Resourceful and proactive when issues arise - Experience using established accounting software is strongly desired **Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Company events - Company pension - Dental care - Disability insurance - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - Paid time off - RRSP match - Vision care Schedule: - Monday to Friday **Experience**: - accounts receivable: 2 years (preferred) Work Location: In person
