Lighthouse Labs is looking for a Career Services Advisor who is excited every day about helping employers fill the talent gap. Students come to Lighthouse Labs as an accelerated pathway to successful employment. This has led to Career Services and employment being a core part of what we do - helping students get a job isn't a nice to have, it is a necessity. We pride ourselves on our hands-on and proactive approach to our students’ job hunt and are fiercely proud that 96% of our job seeking graduates get jobs in 90 days. As the Career Services Advisor, you will work directly with our students in order to prepare them for the job hunt. You will spend a lot of your time talking to students, guiding them through the program, and setting career expectations.

What you’ll be doing: *
- Support students and graduates through the job seeking process which includes resume creation, job seeking and selection, and interviewing (including take home assignments). This support is provided through 1:1’s with students and graduates or in larger workshops settings.
- Source and engage with partnered employers to promote hiring of recent and existing graduates.
- Continuously track, update, organize employer information as it relates to student hiring using our CRM.
- Support and facilitate employer engagement initiatives (Speaker Series and Employer Information Sessions) to encourage partnering with Lighthouse Labs to hire graduates across multiple disciplines and industries (Development and Data).
- Act as a Recruitment advisor to our partnered employers, and students and graduates.

**What we need from you**:

- 2-3 years of related experience in recruiting, student advising, career counseling, coaching.
- Ability to work within the EST time-zone hours, as this role would be primarily servicing our students on the East Coast.
- Experience and comfort with networking and following up on cold and warm employer partnerships.
- Experience and comfort delivering presentations and workshops ranging from 20-50+ participants.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment where KPIs were driving student employment success.
