**Educational Assistant, Applied Computer Education (Term Full-Time)**

- **SALARY**:$51,573 - $72,573 per annum
- **POSITION LOCATION**: Exchange District Campus (Winnipeg, MB)
- **DUTIES**
Reporting to the Chair, Entrepreneur In-Residence, Educational Assistants will work closely with instructors to support the successful implementation and completion of data science-focused projects. Their primary role is to ensure seamless project execution by providing technical and instructional support, helping both students and faculty achieve successful outcomes.

- **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Diploma in data science and machine learning; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Experience with delivering a data science solution to a client problem in an academic work integrated learning or professional setting
- Proficiency in unsupervised machine learning, neural networks and deep learning, data architecture, robotics and automation
- Familiarity with virtual environments and cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to stay current with changes in technology and processes
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment with a collaborative approach.
- Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience providing customer service to a multi-cultural and multi-needed customer base.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement

**ASSET QUALIFICATIONS**
- Experience in a post-secondary educational environment
- Experience with Agile project management, project management or IT service delivery
- Experience mentoring, training or coaching
- Experience with developing and/or delivering a technical solution to a client
- Experience of working on research projects
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and practices

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**

- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
