We are currently looking for a vibrant, detail oriented and creative Marketing Specialist who will manage our clients’ projects in web development, search, social and digital advertising. Our agency works with a wide variety of clients ranging from private jet services, to consumer packaged goods and financial services, developing their brands, websites and digital marketing campaigns. If you’re interested in hands-on experience and wide exposure to the business world, while wearing multiple marketing, project management and digital hats for a variety of industries, we’d be excited to meet you

POSITION TYPE: FULL TIME (WORK FROM HOME)

We are currently looking for a Full Time Virtual Digital Marketing Specialist to start ASAP.

OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Agency Director, the Marketing Specialist plans and executes web development projects as well as digital, search and social media programs for our agency clients. They are essentially the client’s offsite marketing/project manager and trusted consultant/ advisor. The Marketing Specialist is a marketing ninja, and the most important liaison between the agency and several key client accounts.

She/ he collaborates with both our clients and internal team members, (such as our web programmers, designers and writers). They are hands-on in bringing these marketing campaigns to life by managing and executing the projects from start to finish.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Work in partnership with the Creative Director/Owner to administer and oversee ongoing creative projects and agency processes
- Assist with writing marketing copy for print, digital and social channels
- Proofreads copy, artwork, agency and printers’ proofs as requested.
- Updates website content (Wordpress, Shopify, etc.)
- Builds ads and digital campaigns (Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads).
- Manage and execute social posts and ads on social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn) for all clients and ensure that core messaging is on brand and strategy.
- Manage and execute SEO campaigns.
- Work extensively on our project management system, Asana and communicates with colleagues on Teams.
- Prepares and writes meeting minutes, agency project meeting notes, client progress reports and status updates.
- Handle administrative tasks such as updating team priorities and project meeting notes.
- Content creation and community management for napkin marketing social channels.
- Track your time daily on our time tracking app.
- Build trusted relationship with the clients, handling day to day communications and updates, and collaborating with them to define and identify project requirements.
- Manage and communicate with any freelancers and vendors/ suppliers involved with the projects.
- Staying on top of production and creative deadlines, media placements, etc., to ensure continued progress of client workflow.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Physically located in the Greater Toronto Area
- Available 9am-5:30pm ET without other commitments.
- 3 year or more relevant work experience managing marketing campaigns and projects.
- Extremely detail oriented.
- Passion for marketing, advertising, social media and all things digital.
- Comfortable and capable with new technology.
- Comfortable being on camera for Zoom calls, as well as appearing with your photo on our Team page and on social media.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage several projects at once.
- Excellent business and creative writing skills.
- Professional demeanor, appearance and workspace for Zoom meetings with clients.
- Experience delegating and managing team members, vendors and/ or employees and leading a project team to accomplish a goal.
- Hands on Experience with Wordpress, Mailchimp and Facebook social media management/ ads preferred.
- Hands on experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and/ or Facebook Ads preferred.
- Diploma/ Degree in: Business/ Marketing/ Media/ Communications/ Project Management/
